Surf's Up - The Best Surf Spots on Hawaii's Islands

Surfs up in Hawaii, home to some of the best waves in the world! Whether you're a surfer or a spectator, grab your Shaka's shades and head out to these four Hawaiian hot spots to catch a few waves!

1.  Puaena Point: Oahu in Hawaii's North Shore is a perfect beach to catch a few waves and a few rays. This hot spot offers both the experienced surfer and the beginner a shoreline like no other. Professionals are available to help any level perfect their skills and have fun at the same time. Surfing not your thing? Try out a paddleboard and enjoy the ride and view. 

2.  Laniakea Beach: Also in Oahu Laniakea Beach one of the most popular surfing locations and resort areas. Also known as Turtle Beach, this is a popular site to see the amazing sea turtles come to shore. Laniakea Beach is also known for the beach's gorgeous white sand, warm beautiful waters and strong challenging under currents. 

3.  Pine Trees on Big Island: The Big Island features plenty of beaches and hot surf spots so the area is perfect for both beginner and intermediate surfers. Pine Trees, located north of the Kona Airport and features a unique cresent shaped beach that offers surfers a spot to hang ten and a calmer bay area for those who prefer to swim.  After a long, exhausting day on the beach, plan a barbecue...it's the thing to do in Pine Trees.

4.  Kauai's Kealia: The Eastern shore features Kealia, a favorite of Kapaa locals because it's a great spot to catch a few waves, enjoy a gorgeous sunset and watch talented surfers do their thing.
